Damaged

There comes a time in your life where everything around you, including your own body, is telling you that something is wrong and that something needs to change. There's a reason why you're getting unnecessarily angry and why your heart beats faster for no reason. There's a reason your neck gets red when you talk about certain things and that reason has to be dealt with, even if you don't know what it is.

Things happen. Bad things happen and although we might think and feel that we are fine, the truth is we're not. Post Traumatic Stress is something that can occur months or even years after something stressful has happened to you and although you might not notice, your body does and it tries to tell you in small ways, ways as simple as losing your temper for no reason.

You have to come to terms that there is something you need to work through and heal no matter how small you think it might be.



But it's important that you know that something CAN be done to fix it, it might take some time and some hurt, but it'll be better in the end. You just have to realise that you ARE worth it and that you DESERVE happiness. Don't just sit there, silly, go be happy.

I have just begun my journey to happiness. I've prepared myself for the bumps and the hurdles and I know it will be worth it in the end.

So today I am going to start on my Lifework. Maybe you should too...
