People. The Same Old People.

There's an undeniable truth that people never really change. This I find applies for the most part in relationships (if it even reaches that point).

No one is ever really happy with what they have; they constantly want more, the next best thing. No one is willing to fight for someone in the sense that they find fault and give up at the smallest of mistakes. That’s the reason no one makes it these days. People have to learn to be more understanding, especially if it’s with someone you love or really like, it’s worth fighting through the pain and working it out rather than just quitting (or putting that person into a guilt trip and making them feel like a shitty, lousy person.)

People also love playing games and having back-up plans. Whatever happened to romance? Today it’s the new rage to chat up at least two people at the same time so when one goes sour there will always be the other one to pick up the pieces and kiss it all better. It’s bullshit. I like the idea of having a romance that is shared between only two people, something that only happens in the movies these days, something that is worth telling stories about.

To all you babes out there who are playing second fiddle, it’s time to say, “like, wtf bru?”
Haha okay maybe that lacks a certain etiquette, but you get the idea. How about being someone’s one and only instead of being another option for them. Be with someone who isn’t scared to put all their faith in you and put enough faith in yourself to know that you are worth all the romance any Shakespearian Wannabe can muster up. You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful and you should know that.

Sorry about the rant session but it is a Moanday after all.
